Dr. Daymond Glenn
Dr. Daymond Glenn, Founder and Senior Pastor
Before stepping fully into his pastoral calling, Dr. Glenn served as a senior leader in higher education, including roles as Vice President of Student Affairs, Chief Diversity Officer, and tenure-track professor. His experience as an educator shaped a prophetic voice that honors the potential and limitations of traditional institutions to foster spiritual and cultural transformation.
Out of that tension, Enth Church was born, a ministry designed to help all people live lives of meaning, being, and purpose through a prophetic lens. Dr. Glenn’s calling is to cultivate spaces where faith is embodied, culture is sacred, and justice is the visible expression of God’s love in community.
A scholar, author, consultant, and keynote speaker, Dr. Glenn bridges the academy, the church, and the neighborhood. His research explores how hip-hop culture can serve as a site of hope, possibility, and resistance against systemic injustice, particularly for Black males in urban America. He is the author of Critical Condition: Black Males and Multiculturalism in Higher Education, and has contributed widely to conversations on race, faith, and education, including service on the editorial team for the Journal for Hip-Hop Studies.
Dr. Glenn continues to write, teach, and lead at the crossroads of prophetic imagination and public engagement, inspiring others to dream freely, act justly, and live boldly in rhythm with God’s call.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Portland State University, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration, and a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Lewis & Clark College.
